"Man’s Best Friend" is the seventh studio album by American singer Sabrina Carpenter, released on August 28, 2025, through .

Sabrina began to give certain clues anticipating the project through an Instagram live in early June 2025 where she showed a vinyl with a promotional image of the album that was somewhat controversial for some people.

The album was announced on June 11, 2025 with its cover art and title. The cover artwork of Man’s Best Friend generated controversy and significant media attention; some criticized it as appealing to the male gaze in a detrimental manner to women, while others saw it as a way to challenge misogynistic expectations of women's sexual behavior. Later, Carpenter released an alternate direct-to-consumer cover, which she described as "approved by God".

The album was written and produced entirely by Jack Antonoff, Amy Allen, and Sabrina herself. Inspired by artists such as Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon, and ABBA, it features 12 tracks, with «Manchild» being the lead single that reached number one in several countries, many calling it "the song of the summer."

«Tears» was chosen as the second promotional single, being released alongside the album.
